Youth Connection is an innovative community-based non-profit that helps at-risk youth find their place in the community while growing into responsible adults. The goal is to prevent delinquency and crime by addressing resolvable problems that would otherwise lead to deviant behavior.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Kern County is committed to providing children in Kern County with opportunities to adopt healthy lifestyles through social bonding with mentors, engaging and fun activities during non-school hours, and life-changing programs. Our range of services includes after-school and day camp activities consisting of sports leagues, computer education, tutoring/homework assistance, fine art, dance, nutrition, cooking classes, and fitness for youth.

The mission of Bakersfield North Rotary Foundation is to support charities in the Greater Bakersfield area, particularly those serving children and youth, and to support and provide college scholarships for the club-sponsored Interact and Rotaract Clubs.
